Adolph Lietuvninkas, Jr., known affectionately as "Butchy," passed away on July 21, 2024, in Morehead City, NC. He was born on August 18, 1959, and adored by those who knew him, Butchy's departure leaves a void in the hearts of many.
Butchy was a man of wit and humor, his quick quips and infectious laughter filling the room wherever he went. His playfulness earned him the reputation of always being the jokester, bringing joy and light to those around him. One of the many memorable things he would often say was, "Catch ya on the Flip-Flop." This phrase now serves as a cherished memory of his unique spirit.
In reflecting on his life, we remember Butchy as a soul who brought laughter and warmth to every gathering. His presence was a gift, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who were fortunate enough to have known him.
Butchy is survived by his daughter, Ginette; sisters, Betty and Dolly; brother, John, and sister-in-law, Karen, along with his nieces and nephews, and his partner Linda, all of whom were dear to his heart. In the wake of his passing, they hold on to the precious memories they shared with Butchy.
He is now reunited with his parents, Adolph, Sr. and Pauline; brothers, Buster, Rocky, Vince; sisters, Little Betty, Kitty, who have gone before him. Although they mourn his passing, they take solace in knowing he is at peace, surrounded by their love once more.
In the hearts of many, Butchy will forever remain a source of laughter and light. As we mourn his loss, we also celebrate the enduring impact he had on those around him. May his memory bring comfort to all who grieve, and may he rest in eternal peace, knowing he was loved and cherished by so many.
