Wynnetta LaDeaux Patton

Wynnetta LaDeaux Patton, 70, of Richlands, NC, passed away peacefully in her sleep on May 25, 2026 in Beaufort, NC.

She was born January 17,1956 in Little Rock Arkansas and graduated from Memphis Technical High School in 1973.

She later married Mark Patton and they raised their son Nathanael together.

She was very well known for her ability to quote scripture and her beautiful singing voice. She and her friend Bruce Lockwood traveled extensively sharing their love of singing and entertaining with others for many years.

Wynnetta is survived by her son Nathanael and grand daughter Jamie both of Southaven, MS; brothers, Darwin Ingersoll and Edward Wilkins. Along with friends from Jacksonville, Swansboro, Richlands and her family from The Potter’s House Church.

A Home Going Memorial Celebration will be June 10, at 6pm at The Potter’s House Church located at 4801 Gum Branch Rd Jacksonville NC.
